TeV observations of PKS 2005-489 and PKS 0548-322

Observations have been made using the University of Durham Mark 6 telescope of the nearby X-ray selected BL Lacs PKS 2005-489 and PKS 0548-322 which should be strong candidates as sources of TeV emission. We find no evidence for long-term emission of VHE gamma rays from these sources in extended measurements covering [FORMULA] years. We find [FORMULA] limits to the VHE gamma ray flux of [FORMULA] above 400 GeV for PKS 2005-489 and [FORMULA] above 300 GeV for PKS 0548-322.
