The TeV -ray visibility of Geminga-like pulsars

It is shown that, while the number of Geminga-like pulsars in the Galaxy may be , the prospects of detecting TeV gamma-ray signals from them are not very encouraging. Arguments are presented to show that Geminga-like pulsars having periods in the range 200-500 ms, surface magnetic fields Gauss and preferentially located within of the earth may be able to produce detectable TeV gamma-ray signals.
