Detection of Young Stellar Objects with ISO

Abstract

Preliminary 15µm results obtained with ISOCAM are compared with deep K-band and H2 O maser observations of a [FORMULA] field in the galactic plane at [FORMULA]. A new maser source is found to be associated with the infrared source with the largest colour index, ([FORMULA] - [FORMULA]) [FORMULA], most probably a young star in its earliest evolutionary phase. Other three objects with ([FORMULA] - [FORMULA]) [FORMULA], probably young stars, are also found in the observed region.
