The Galactic disk: study of four low latitude Galactic fields

In this paper we correct the following errors introduced in proof:

1) In Sect. 6.4, second paragraph, the scale length of the thin disk derived from the data of field F4 is found to be in the range 2-3 kpc (rather than 1.2-1.5 kpc as mistakenly indicated in the text), while values lower than 2 kpc result in a poorer fit to the luminosity functions.

2) In the caption of Fig. 11a-d, h should be replaced with h. The caption should read:

The luminosity function of Field 4 is displayed with four selected solutions with sech² mass distributions:
a) , h, h;
b) , h, h;
c) , h, h;
d) , h, h

3) In the Conclusions, the scale length of the thin disk found from our data is h pc (rather than pc).

These errors do not affect any of the results or conclusions of the paper.
