In the paper GRB 990510: linearly polarized radiation from a fireball, by Covino et al. published in A&A (348, L1) part of the acknowledgment was missing.

"Before this letter was accepted for publication, a sign error in the routine used to derive the polarization angle emerged. We are grateful to E. Palazzi, F. Frontera and R. Wijers for pointing out this discrepancy prior to the completion of their paper (Wijers et al. 1999)".
